19-year-old college student Ivy Ziedrich confronted Jeb Bush and told him exactly what she thinks of his family’s role in the political and military crises in the Middle East. At a town hall meeting in Reno, Nevada, the presumed presidential candidate and former Florida governor claimed that unrest in the Middle East was caused by President Barack Obama’s decision to remove American forces from the region, and that ISIS evolved in the power vacuum created by that removal. As he was signing autographs afterwards, Ziedrich — who identified herself as a member of the College Democrats at the University of Nevada — challenged him on the issue of who’s responsible for the rise of ISIS.
Jeb Bush replied:
Jeb Bush has been accused by his many opponents as a politician that carries “loyalty to his brother too far." "I'm my own man,” he defended himself to the Washington Post on Wednesday after stating just hours earlier during another interview with another news outlet that "What you need to know is that who I listen to when I need advice on the Middle East is George W. Bush." |
